We’re Sally and Emma, two friends who worked together making award winning programmes at the BBC.

And now we make award winning wedding films!

Orchid Films won the Best Videographer in Wales award at the first Welsh National Wedding Awards in November 2011 after just three years in business.

When Emma got married she couldn’t find anyone to make the unique documentary style wedding video she wanted and so Orchid Films was born, to fill the gap in the market.

We transferred our talents from TV to the big wide world and haven’t looked back since. We’re so lucky to love what we do and are delighted to have filmed more than 75 weddings and created numerous web videos for satisfied customers across the UK.

Although we’re business partners who work brilliantly together we’re like chalk and cheese! Emma likes shopping, shoes and tweeting while Sally prefers walking, horse riding and the great outdoors.

Our similarities? We’re both happily married with children and are sociable, creative and dedicated.

And we’re both very proud that together we’ve not only made films that people love but many clients have turned into friends along the way.
